Sara discovered the joy of dancing when she was very young and hasn’t stopped dancing since. Originally from Italy, she started her studies at the National Dance Academy in Rome, under the direction of J. Fontano. In 2012 she completed the biennium of Professional Improvement in Contemporary Dance and Performative Arts. During those years she had the fortune to attend the Clode Coldy’s sensitive dance and Nina Dipla’s Pina Baush school workshops, and to perform in many Italian cities with the dance theatre company Luogocomune. She is now based in Melbourne where she is founding member of the company In Helvetica. She is also a passionate teacher and she loves to share her skills with young dancers. She runs creative dance, ballet and contemporary dance classes.
